Only about 130 kilometers southwest of Cebu City and about three hours by bus, Kawasan waterfall located in the mountains of Barangay Matutinao, Badian, Philippines. From the entrance you will have to travel uphill for about thirty minutes, depending on your speed, to get to the first waterfall. Along the way, a souvenir shop that sells accessories such as beaded necklaces, bracelets, and t-shirt print area available for sale if you want to bring souviners home with you.
Kawasan has three waterfalls. The first one especially the largest of the three, and usually the most crowded. Climbing for fifteen minutes will take you to the second waterfall, and another, for the third. You can bring food, or buy from the resort restaurant. Cottage and tables are also available for rent, and rooms for overnight. You can rent a raft to take you around the waterfall "pool" or to "shower massage" under a refreshing waterfall. Vests are also available for a very affordable price.
